Painter
What you will do
Responsibilities
- Sand, mask, prime, and paint autoclaves, ovens, electrical enclosures, junction boxes, and conduit.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment while ensuring proper preparation and finish quality.
- Inspect painted surfaces, perform touch-ups as needed, and clean, paint, and wrap completed products.
- Clean and maintain painting equipment and properly handle paints and related materials.
- Report equipment issues to the supervisor.
- Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow work instructions, communicate project status, complete required paperwork, and support process improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned and work overtime or alternate shifts as needed.
What helps you succeed
Requirements
- 3 or more years’ experience in industrial painting or related field
- Proficiency in using various painting equipment and techniques
- Knowledge of safety practices and procedures related to industrial painting
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
