Employee Experience Manager
What you will do
Responsibilities
- • Own our company culture and keep morale and engagement strong across the whole company
- • Lead, coach, and develop Employee Experience Coordinators, setting their priorities and holding the role accountable for results
- • Stay visible across the business, from the production floor to the office, and keep the team connected with production, shipping/receiving, inventory, engineering, and office staff
- • Make sure there is always a friendly, familiar face people feel comfortable flagging down to talk about how things are going
- • Build the channels that gather honest feedback, and bring what you hear back to managers and leadership with recommendations for action
- • Set the calendar and direction for events and activities people look forward to, company-wide and within individual departments
- • Oversee the fun stuff like prizes, giveaways, and milestone celebrations, and set the standard for how we celebrate our people
- • Design recognition programs that make people feel appreciated for their hard work
- • Partner with department managers to understand what each department needs and shape engagement programs tailored to them
- • Spot opportunities to make the employee experience better, build the case for new ideas, and win leadership buy-in to make them happen
- • Track what works and what doesn’t, use surveys to report on engagement, and refine the programs over time
- • Manage employee experience expenses and resources
What helps you succeed
Requirements
- • At least 6 years in a people-first role, including 2 or more years leading or managing others
- • A track record of planning and running events that people actually showed up for
- • Experience building engagement, recognition, or culture programs, ideally in a hands-on or manufacturing environment
- • A natural extrovert with a big personality who can light up a room
- • A sharp communicator who can write and talk with ease, and present to leadership with confidence
- • Comfortable in Microsoft Word and the rest of the MS Office toolkit
- • Happy on your feet and hands-on, out on the shop floor with the team
