Inventory Clerk
What you will do
Responsibilities
- Maintain good housekeeping and organization of the Inventory Department.
- Stock parts in designated storage areas.
- Update the Inventory Control system with new inventory and inventory pulls.
- Pulls parts from inventory.
- Perform inventory of parts and confirm storage locations.
- Responsible for reporting when “order below quantities” are reached by requesting the purchase of replenishment of parts when quantity is reached.
- Responsible for reviewing purchase requests of special order sheets (green sheets) prior to submitting to the Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
- Reports issues regarding inventory to the Inventory/Shipping/Receiving Supervisor.
- Other duties as assigned.

- One year of Inventory Control experience.
- Good communication skills with management and co-workers.
- Ability
- to operate electronic document management systems is necessary.
- Demonstrate detailed approach to projects.
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time is common.
- For purpose of collecting or distributing parts to production or completing similar tasks the successful candidate must be able to spend limited amounts of time in a heavy manufacturing environment that is not air-conditioned and has exposure to noise and dust/particles caused by welding and other fabrication activities associated with the production of industrial process equipment.
- PPE will be required including hard hats steel-toed shoes protective glasses and ear protection.
- Additional protective devices such as dust mask are available.
- Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations.
