Manufacturing Engineer/Planner
What you will do
Responsibilities
- Create drawings/designs based on production needs.
- Assist with developing lifting plans.
- Assist in continuous improvement of manufacturing methods.
- Generates and revises 2-D and 3-D schematics for mechanical equipment and components using AutoCad and Autodesk Inventor design software.
- Analyzes as-built fabrication drawings to determine if drawing revisions are warranted and completes all changes in a timely fashion.
- Follows and processes quality control procedures including CNs NCRs and ASME related tasks.
- Creates Bill of Material on design drawings and in company’s OMS data base.
- Coordinates with and assists various departments to facility timely cost-efficient and accurate design and fabrication of products.

Requirements
- Position requires proficient use of 2-D and 3-D computer design software.
- Technical degree certificate or a minimum of 1 year work experience in related field.
- Ability to communicate with management and co-workers as well as customers and vendors.
- Regular use of computer equipment and email for communication is required.
- Good knowledge of common office equipment such as computer calculator fax machine etc. is needed.
- Sitting for extended periods is common.
